Sector: Legal
Industry Context
Chambers & Partners (Chambers) is the world’s leading legal insights and analytics company, providing in-depth rankings data and research on the top lawyers and law firms globally. Backed by a rigorous and unique research methodology, Chambers publishes directories, guides and business intelligence tools that help legal buyers select the right legal services and firms for their business and commercial needs.
Challenge
The brief was to evolve the brand and its positioning to support Chamber's significant expansion into the USA. Backed by leading mid-market PE firm Inflexion, the business needed to be positioned for either sale or IPO. Our work spanned the full brand spectrum, from core proposition messaging through to logo design, system development and application across multiple channels.

How the work helps
Positioning
For when it matters
We crafted a positioning that unites every aspect of the business and its audiences, from general counsel to legal professionals, all focused on securing and enhancing their reputations. The line creates a sense of urgency and implied pressure while cementing Chambers as a premium, must-have brand.
Strategy
We built on Chambers’ existing goodwill and market presence, making precise, effective adjustments across every element of the brand. This included recrafting the logo, recalibrating the colour palette, refining typography, improving data representation, and redeveloping the design system that underpins all assets across channels.

How the work helps
Design system
We completely reimagined the brand’s foundational design system to drive clarity, legibility, ease of use, and a distinctive look. The system works seamlessly across presentations, events, digital and print channels, positioning Chambers as a premium, trusted brand alongside the high-calibre companies and professionals who rely on its services.
Impact
The refreshed brand elevated Chambers’ presence in existing markets and provided the sales team with a compelling, consistent vocabulary. The creation of a self-serve website and memorable assets supported new business development across the Americas and Asia. This growth directly contributed to the ultimate goal of selling the business—a successful outcome for all stakeholders.
