Westminster Abbey Da Vinci Code - luxury book design

Fact from Fiction

In response to the publicity surrounding the 'Da Vinci Code' book and film we designed a book to counter the inaccuracies and hype where it specifically related to Westminster Abbey. The design was finished with a gold foil de-bossed title and on a cream stock it was designed to firmly keep fact away from fiction, but to subtly link back visually to the book.

The design featured a clear plan of the Abbey with locations of points raised by the book included so that those interested can easily find points of interest.

The main part of the publication is a retort to the in-accuracies in the 'Da Vinci Code', written by the Abbey's Canon Theologian. This luxury book design was illustrated with shots of the Abbey's famous twin towers and Newtons Tomb where appropriate to the text.
