The Church Conservation Trust had rebranded to change how it was perceived. The new emphasis was on increasing church visitors by engaging with the wider heritage community. A new website was needed to support this.
We completely restructured and redesigned the website to showcase the rich architectural and historical features of churches and make it as easy as possible to organise a visit. New sections included Plan Your Day Out, What’s On and a fully searchable directory of churches.
The website was also used as a base for developing more engaging content such as Following in the Footsteps of Jools Holland in Shropshire and Loyd Grossman in Sussex.
Visitors and donations have rose significantly since the website was launched.
What we did:
– Website strategy
– Information architecture
– Website design
