Keep it simple

A microsite design for ESRI - a satellite mapping company. We designed icons and schematics for this animated explanation of their latest service offering. Dynamic, engaging and easy to follow, the animation and voiceover explain an extremely complicated subject in clear small sections.

The microsite design featured strong instantly familiar icons to keep the animation simple and easy to understand. All elements are animated on the screen in sync to a voice over, which if turned off is replaced with sub-titles and captions.

Where necessary we generated new icons and symbols. The microsite design also featured an area for captions at the base of the screen, animating alongside the imagery to help tell the story.
